LakeMonster serves the information needs of anglers, recreational boaters, kayakers/canoers, and beachgoers alike. During winter, ice anglers rely on LakeMonster to monitor dropping water temperatures and observe natural color satellite images that depict their favorite lakes freezing over―this helps them anticipate when they can start ice fishing. In spring, open water fishermen turn to LakeMonster to determine when ice melts on their preferred lakes (known as "ice-out"), decide when to remove their boats from storage, and monitor the rising water temperatures during the crucial walleye spawning season. Throughout the busy summer months, everyone uses LakeMonster to check temperatures, wind speed/direction, pressure, and more. As summer transitions into fall, LakeMonster becomes a go-to resource for monitoring decreasing lake levels, while anglers continue to monitor water temperatures, this time for a drop―signaling feeding frenzies among perch and walleye. And once again, ice anglers eagerly await dropping temperatures in the 30s as they keep an eye on the natural color imagery for signs of ice formation on their favorite lakes.

For an enhanced experience, users have the option to upgrade to LakeMonster Pro for $7.99/month or $83.99/year. Subscriptions can be managed through the App Store account and will auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
